IIS7 Web Server: Pictures Don't Load!

    Hi everybody!

I've got a Windows Server 2008 system and I'm trying to host a web server, yet for some reason images don't load even though the html on the page does. This applies to jpeg, png and gif images and possibly others. Other filetypes such as executables and a few other types I tried work fine and transfer via HTTP just fine.

I've considered the problem being under the MIME Types setup, yet png and all the image formats are there, so I have no idea what's going on here. Effectively, I am literally using the default IIS setup for the web page, but it does this with my own pages too. Port 80 is forwarded properly using ICS and modem is directly on the server. For the purposes of testing, I disabled Windows firewall. Hope somebody has seen this before!

     Site is located at http://cmoullas.homeip.net

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it works perfectly internally.

    Thanks for reading!

The deafult page with image loads fine.  Best guess is your code is wrong.  Images with paths that point to the local drive are a common error.  But since the image works in the URL you post and you post nothing else relevant, it appears everything is fine.

Thanks for your reply. Looks like you are right, the images are loading fine now off of an external connection. The problem didn't really auto-mend itself, it was more of a mutation. Now I can't access it internally when pointing to the URL. I'm not going to bang my head against the wall to worry about that, though.

     Thanks again!
