    delegated creation of applications

Delegation works great in IIS7, but is there a way to delegate the conversion of directories to applications with the GUI?

Not that I know of, but if you wanted to prevent this only give access at the application level instead of the site level.

    Re: delegated creation of applications

Actually, what I would try to do is the opposit: I would like to delegate web sites to my customers, and give them a possibility to create applications within their site.

The delegation of the sites works great, but I can't find a way to delegate the creation of web applications... Is this 'behaviour by design', or am I just not seeing something?

This capability does not exist currently but is a great feature for consideration in future versions.
