IIS 7 FTP Upload/Download speed throttling

Does IIS 7 FTP support speed throttling (ideally on a per site basis)? We'd like to kick out Serv-U because the licensing costs are hideous but can't unless we can do this.

Failing that, any got other suggestions for third party FTP products that support this capability?

    Cheers
    Kev

    Hi Bernard,

Kinda hoped that might have been a feature of FTP given they started from scratch. Found Gene 6 FTP which looks quite promising. http://www.g6ftpserver.com/.

LOL. I'm sure the product team is listening.

Re: IIS 7 FTP Upload/Download speed throttling

On a related note, I've been trying to use FTP with Visual Web Developer Express Ed. and it seems like a total dog. I think this is a VWD issue because other FTP clients connect and transfer files much more quickly. I've tried the 2008 version and it seems even worse...10-15 secs to save a single ASP file of 15K or thereabouts.

All the other servers I've been using VWD with are 2000/2003 with FPSE installed, and VWD seems to work much more quickly via FrontPage than over FTP. Are other publishers installing FPSE on IIS 7? Microsoft is pretty clear that they don't support it, and I'd rather go with the "recommended" solution.
