I have just set up IIS 5.1 on a win xp pro machine. I was wondering if asp.net is compatible with iis 5.1. I did a search for it on google but it didn't come up with anything that answered my question.

Hi,After you successfully installed IIS on Windows XP, the only thing left is downloading Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 or Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=262d25e3-f589-4842-8157-034d1e7cf3a3&DisplayLang=enhttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&DisplayLang=enThe .NET Framework installer will install and configure ASP.NET 1.1 or ASP.NET 2.0 respectively. If you are looking for ASP.NET development tool then, I think you can try Visual Web Developer:http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/
