    Web content synchronization

    Hi,

I am not sure if this feature already exists in IIS7.

Could IIS7 synchronizes the web content of a web farm, like Application Center 2000 does?

I've seen IIS7 is able to have a unique configuration set using share configuration for Web Farms. But the content syncronization of each web server have to be done manually.

Could this feature be added to IIS7?

IIS7 does not, at least in Beta 3, synch content.  There are third party tools of course (DoubleTake for example), or you could use DFS replication in Windows.  Content synchronization isn't exactly a function of a web server, but with App Center gone (it's still supported I think...), there is no good Microsoft solution for this.

You could look at using Robocopy which is part of the resource kit.   Or DFS as Jeff mentioned, this is a very nice way for serving web-farm content.
