    can anyone help me , none of my asp pages are opening everytime i got this message

    HTTP Error 404.3 - Not Found

    Description: The page you are requesting cannot be served because of the Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) map policy that is configured on the Web server. The page you requested has a file name extension that is not recognized, and is not allowed.

    it isnt working on a simple page using response.write() function

    i tried to view the other post  and make the adjustement but none work

    plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help !!!!!!!!!!!!!111

    Sounds like you didn't install ASP. Go to the Control Panel - Programs - Turn Windows Features On or Off - Internet Information Services - World Wide Web Services - Application Development Features - ASP.

    hi thomad and thanks for your fast reply, well i figure out the problem after 2 hour of digging, but now im confronting a new problem , the simple asp file are working correctly, but when i create a new virtual directory, the system deploy the web.config file into my site directory, so whenever i browse for my default page, i got the page cannot be found, if i rename it it work.

    another issue is with the pages using  db connection, i have error in all pages, with contact your admin message, i tried to give permissions to all folder and db but none has work....

    so could you help me please in this issue,

    what kind of error msgs? is it related to this?
