Setting application directory with MS Web Manager

Has someone tried setting a new directory as an application directory through the MS Web Manager remotely?  Is there something that needs to be done on the server side.  Any special permissions that need to be set.  Your input is greatly appreciated.

    rcpenalosa,

You need to connect to the server as Administrator, to create new applications.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I don't think you can manipulate vdir or app even you are connecting as site administrator.
At least, I'm not able to do this when I'm connect to site level. I can only do this when I connect to server level.

My bad, I meant Server Administrator.  I updated the previous post.

    Thanks,

    Mike
