  My website images and CSS Not Working in IIS7 Reply Contact I have a website running in Windows Server 2003 SP1. The site is in a virtual machine and it connects to a remote DB which is exposed on the internet. Now I want to take that site out of the VM and just run it in my Windows Vista (RTM) Ultimate machine on IIS7. I setup the Web Application in IIS7 and then copied all files from the virtual machine to the new virtual directory. Now, although the site runs OK with no exceptions, the problem is that I cannot see any of the images and the css files seem to have some problems, as the site loose all its styles. I suppose the problem is related to IIS7 and some setting I´m just missing. What can I do to make my site run on Windows Vista? Thanks, Julio

  Re: My website images and CSS Not Working in IIS7 Reply Contact there's another topic very similar to this a few threads down...http://forums.iis.net/thread/1604529.aspx.  in that thread nothing showed in the browser (blank).  Do you have the static file handler installed?  Also, might help to get a Failed Request Trace for the css requests.  there is a walkthrough on this site already on how to configure this.  -ericdeily Program Manager - IIS Release/Proj Mgmt & Support/Health/Instr/Tracing/Logging

  Re: My website images and CSS Not Working in IIS7 Reply Contact Hi ericdeily, I'm having a similar issue but mine is of a smaller problem. 99% of my CSS is rendering OK after migrating website over from IIS6 to IIS7. However that 1% in particular the styling of width and the capitalization of text is not working. I've Taken both my original CSS file and Current CSS file running on the IIS7 Web Server and put it through a difference document reader. All is OKAY so the only difference between after migration is the webserver version.  Do you think your above recommendation will help with this problem? If so what is a static file handler?  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.  Kind regards,  Sahus Pilwal
