In Jonathan Hassell's Longhorn Server revealed column on February 14, 2007, he talks about Five IIS enhancements you should know about coming in IIS 7.0.
"The product has been redesigned for Longhorn with security in mind," says Hassell. "[IIS] has transitioned ... into a world-class set of code that can run even the most intense Internet-facing applciations."
Hassell goes on to discuss his list of five, including IIS7's modularity, text-file configuration enabled, task-oriented management interface (IIS Manager), security, and Windows PowerShell support for administration. Read more about why Hassell chose these five to discuss in his recent column.
