Urgent! Need help to solve HTTP/1.1 500 Server error!

Hi...I'm using Internet Information Services(IIS) version 5.1,Internet Explorer 5.1 and Visual Studio.net Professional 2003 to do my asp.net web application.

Whenever I tried to open my web application, the error message:The webserver reported the following error when attempting to create or open the web project located at the following URL:'http://localhost/Project'. 'HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error'. will appear on the computer screen.

Does anyone know how to solve the problem? Please let me know as soon as possible as I need to finish my asp.net project quickly..

    Thank you.

Make sure that friendly error messages are disabled in IE so we may get a fully detailed error message.  Also check the System and Application event logs for relevant entries.

Outside VS.NET, can you browse to simple ASP/ASPX pages in IE?

Can you send snap-shot of the error message in here?
