How to use FastCGI with python?

    Hello,

can I use the FastCGI component with python? I have installed the component according the readme.txt file. I get the following error code: Error 0x800703e3 occurred processing request.

    I have done the following:

    1. cscript fcgisetup.js /install
    2. cscript fcgisetup.js /r /add c:\python24\python.exe PY

     I use python 2.4.4.

Re: How to use FastCGI with python?

We did not test the FastCGI technical preview with these application frameworks, due to the short release timeframe for the tech preview.  It was tested with PHP 5 only.

In theory, there is nothing that would prevent Python and RoR from working with it, but in practice there may be certain incompatibilities / issues.

We will definitely be addressing these before the final release of FastCGI v1.0.  In the meantime, we are investigating any short term solutions to making these work - but no promises right now :(

    Thanks,

What was the command you used to register Ruby which produced the error?

I believe the command I used for Ruby was:
    1. cscript fcgisetup.js /install
    2. cscript fcgisetup.js /r /add C:\ruby\bin\ruby.exe RB
