The known issues / limitations below affect only CGI programs running on top of the FastCGI technical preview for IIS 7, and do not affect other server components like the static file handler, ASP, or ASP.NET:
- Error responses may be returned with 200 OK response status code. An error response from a CGI program may be returned with a non-error status code.
- The TCP FastCGI protocol is not supported. This prevents certain FastCGI programs that rely on the TCP FastCGI transport from working - however, the majority of CGI programs are not affected.
- Certain PHP configuration directives may cause an 0x800703e3 error when using the FastCGI technical preview. For more information, see http://forums.iis.net/thread/1451408.aspx.
These limitations will be addressed in the next release.
