IIS 6 asp.net version dropdown is totally blank

    Hi,

I think I have a strange problem on my Testing box. The ASP.NET version dropdown under Web Sites Properties ASP.NET tab of  the IIS Manager has nothing for me to select from. I looked at the registry and it looks like both 1.1 and 2.0 are present.  I ran a repair to correct corrupted .net framework and it hasn't fix the problem.

I manually re-registered framework 2.0 yesterday because I published a site to this box and it gave me an error on the webconfig file. The new site is now functioning, but I am not able to associate asp.net version w/ sites. FYI: some sites on this box requires 1.1.

Any one knows why this might have happened and a fix??

    Thanks!!!

    Victoria

Did you ever have a beta version on the box?

    IIRC, aspnet_regiis should fix this.

    Hey~

As Tom mentions, there were problems with machines as they upgraded from Beta 2 of ASP.NET 2.0 to RTM had problems.  I believe that we are currently working on a Knowledge Base article to discuss some of the known issues, though I can't promise anything.  There is another issue if you possibly are running a 64-bit version of the OS & ASP.NET 2.0 - this doesn't work (known issue.)

If you could share a little history as to how you got to this point, then I might can help you a bit further -

    Thanks and hope that helps,
